Limited Roaster's Select - Rwanda Natural Light Roast
Mbilima, Dukunde Kawa Cooperative — Rwanda
Grown by 459 farmers around the Mbilima Washing Station, part of Rwanda's Dukunde Kawa Cooperative, one of the country's oldest and most awarded producer groups. Local bourbon cultivars grow in volcanic loam at 1,500–2,100 masl near Akanduga Village, Gakenke District, with harvest running between March and October.
This coffee is Fair Trade and Organic certified.
Processing is fully washed: cherry is floated and sorted, fermented dry for about 18 hours, then soaked to halt fermentation before a final density sort in grading channels. Parchment is hand-sorted and sun-dried for 14 to 21 days, producing the bright acidity, stone fruit, and herbaceous character Rwandan bourbon is known for.
